One of Robert Gallup's best deadly escape stunts ever, as well as a great sensational publicity stunt, is his upside down Hang and Burn Escape. (See description below, and video clips to the right.)
Description: As another one of Gallup's death-defying escape
media events created to promote his live touring show, the Singapore
Hang and Burn Escape had Gallup bound and gagged head-to-toe,
hoisted upside down 100 feet above the pavement with the rope
that suspended him set on fire! Tempting fate once again, the
same escape was re-staged in front of Universal Studios Hollywood
on Friday the 13th as one of Gallup's featured segments in the
highly rated prime-time NBC special, "The Worlds Most Dangerous
Magic".
